The Crisis Assessment Center is a first-of-its-kind resource in our region and a true game-changer for children’s behavioral health. Here, families can walk in anytime – no referral or appointment needed – and connect immediately with professionals who specialize in helping kids through crisis with compassion and care.
Highlights:
• Immediate support lets families access same-day help from a therapist or provider when a child is struggling without the stress of an emergency department visit.
• Children needing more focused time and support may transition to the nearby Stabilization Center for up to 23 hours of extra care, therapy and rest.
• Every detail – from furniture to layout – was chosen and tested by kids to ensure safety, comfort and calm.
