MATFORCE, a primary prevention organization with a focus on stopping youth drug use before it starts, will be offering a Mental Health First Aid course in the Verde Valley.
Mental Health First Aid Training in Camp Verde
This 8-hour Mental Health First Aid training is open to the community and is ideal for anyone interested in helping an individual experiencing a mental health crisis. Participants will learn how to identify common signs and symptoms of mental illness and substance use, connect with those in crisis, and practice non-judgmental listening techniques.
This free, in-person class is scheduled for Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and will be held at Camp Verde Community Library, located at 130 Black Bridge Loop Road, in Camp Verde. Advance registration is mandatory for all attendees and closes on 5/26/2026.
