Hundreds of community members recently came together to celebrate the Fifth Annual “Kiefer’s Magical Birthday Bash,” a two-day, family-friendly event held at Wild Ride Brewing in Prineville and Redmond.
Hosted by Rimrock Trails in partnership with Wild Ride Brewing, the celebration offered a mix of live music, food and conversations focused on mental health awareness. Attendees enjoyed dancing, raffle drawings and auctions, while connecting with family and friends in a festive and welcoming environment.
Following Kiefer’s death, the Leutschaft family partnered with Rimrock Trails to establish the Kiefer Magical Legacy Fund. One of the primary goals of the event is to reduce the stigma associated with mental health challenges by fostering open, honest conversations about mental health and addiction. The initiative also encourages individuals to seek support services and take meaningful steps toward recovery and long-term well-being.
The event is designed to exemplify just how much can be accomplished when groups of people and organizations come together with a commitment to the mental health of our community. Working together, the magic is kept alive.
“Supporting the Kiefer Magic Legacy Fund and its mission to uplift mental health awareness and vulnerable youth made the day especially powerful,” said Ann Cronin, a Rimrock Trails volunteer. “It was a beautiful reminder of why this work matters and how resilience, community and compassion can shine through even the stormiest moments.”
The event was made possible by the efforts and donations of multiple individuals and businesses. Special thanks and appreciation were given to the presenting sponsor, Wild Ride Brewing and the inspiration of the Leutschaft Family. Gratitude was also expressed to event attendees, the event committee members, volunteers at the event and individuals and businesses donating raffle and auction items.
