May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to recognize the importance of emotional well-being. Throughout the month, Emory is highlighting a range of programs and services available to employees.
Faculty Staff Assistance Program (FSAP)
Emory University employees have access to the Faculty Staff Assistance Program (FSAP). This free and confidential benefit provides counseling, consultation and educational resources to support mental health, work‑life balance and well‑being.
During May, FSAP will host a variety of events, workshops and outreach opportunities, which are available to explore on the FSAP events calendar.
FSAP is also offering a Mental Health Challenge in May, inviting employees to take small, intentional steps that support emotional health, self‑care and connection. The challenge is approachable and flexible, making it easy to participate alongside daily work and life commitments.

Movement is more than fitness — it’s an evidence‑based way to support mental health. Even a few minutes of physical activity can help ease stress, improve mood and support better sleep.
As part of the Healthy Emory Physical Activity campaign, employees are encouraged to explore:
