LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) — A local veterans mental health organization is hosting a fish fry fundraiser on Saturday.
No XQCZ Inc. will host the Plates with a Purpose Fish Fry, offering different plate options to the community to support the organization’s efforts to help area veterans.
Plates are available for presale with a fish plate featuring catfish, corn, a green salad and a roll set at $13 and a community plate adding a dessert and drink to the order for $15. Plates purchased the day of the event will be set at $15, with community plates set at $18.
Those who are unable to attend can also purchase a plate for $13 to be donated to veterans at the Lawton Fort Sill Veterans Center and the homeless population in Lawton.
To purchase plates for presale, contact 580-713-8630. Presale orders can also be made at noxqcz.org by clicking the donate button, inputting the plate amount and writing your name and order in the description.
In addition, the Piercing Society will offer $10 off for those who show a ticket purchased from the event on the day of the event or the following Tuesday, May 12.
The event is set to take place at VFW Post 5263 in Lawton from noon to 4 p.m.
