Welcome to Bridging the Gap, presented by Orange Partnership and airing on 97.9 The Hill and Chapelboro.com!
This month, enjoy a conversation with Marianne Mitchell, Educational Psychologist and Certified Mental Health First Aid Trainer, and Caroline Hall, ADAPT Intern and Senior at Cedar Ridge High School.
May is Mental Health Month, founded in 1949 by Mental Health America. This year’s theme is “More Good Days – Together” and focuses on how individuals and the community at large can come together and offer support and engage in activities that promote good mental health, one day at a time.
Listen to the full conversation below with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey, Marianne Mitchell, and Caroline Hall as they talk about how Orange County Schools is using Community Resiliency Model (CRM) programming to promote good mental health in K-12 students and how parents and teens can find resources to use at home.
