MISSOULA, Mont. — The Wachholz Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Flathead Valley Community College is inviting the community to two free events later this month focused on artificial intelligence and mental health awareness.

The first event, “Practical AI for Montana Businesses,” is scheduled for May 21 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Wachholz Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center.

The workshop will explore how Montana businesses can use artificial intelligence tools in practical ways, including customer service, internal workflows and daily operations. Organizers said the event is geared toward business owners, operators and entrepreneurs and does not require a technical background.

CubCloud AI founders Joshua Rhines and Brandon Smith will lead the session and discuss real-world examples of AI use by businesses across Montana.

The second event, “Night at the WIEC: A Conversation with the Nate Chute Foundation,” will take place May 28 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Held during Mental Health Awareness Month, the event will feature Nate Chute Foundation Executive Director Brad Ray in a discussion moderated by WIEC Director Eric Harry.

Organizers said the event is intended to encourage community conversation around mental health awareness, support resources and connection in the Flathead Valley.

Both events are free and open to the public.
