Beaumont’s Riceland Healthcare celebrated the relocation of Riceland Psychiatric Clinic into its suite May 8.
The psychiatric clinic is now located at 85 Interstate 10 North Frontage Road, the same address as Riceland’s clinic, home health and hospice offices.
“Mental healthcare remains one of the greatest unmet needs in Southeast Texas, and we are proud to continue expanding access to compassionate, quality psychiatric care for our community,” Riceland said in a statement.
Representatives from the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce and leaders from Beaumont and Port Arthur attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Former U.S. Rep. Nick Lampson also attended.
The psychiatric clinic will be led by Dr. Edward Gripon and a team of psychiatric nurse practitioners. The clinic is now accepting new patients, but referrals are required before scheduling an appointment.
