CANANDAIGUA — Thompson Health received the Heart of Partnership Award from the University of Rochester Employee Assistance Program recently in recognition of “exceptional partnership grounded in collaboration, trust, and shared purpose, demonstrated through the thoughtful integration of EAP services across the organization.”
Thompson first began offering its associates EAP in 2013, one year after affiliating with the university. Approximately 4% of associates take advantage of the program, which is also available to household members. In person or via a secure video conference, EAP counselors can assist with a wide range of issues, including depression/anxiety, financial stress, and illness/disability.
Accepted by Vice President of Associate Services/Wellness Jennifer DeVault, the award was presented during the EAP’s 30th anniversary celebration in Rochester.
