MURRAY, Ky. — The Foundation at Murray-Calloway County Hospital will hold a one-mile community walk on Saturday, May 30, benefiting the hospital’s mental health services and programs.
Registration for the “Miles for Minds” walk will begin at 8 a.m., with the walk itself following at 9 a.m. Registration includes an event t-shirt.
According to the hospital, the walk aims to raise awareness about mental health, encourage open conversations surrounding emotional wellness and support local mental health resources. Organizers stated that the event hopes to serve as a reminder that no one has to face mental health challenges alone.
“Join our community as we walk for hope, healing and support for mental health,” organizers wrote. “Every step we take together helps build a healthier, stronger community.”
Individual tickets cost $25 while family team tickets run for $75 and business teams for $250. To pre-register, click here.
