ALBANY, NY (WRGB) — June is Men’s Health Month, and a local group of runners is taking men’s and women’s health from Buffalo to New York City, all to support mental health awareness.

A group of runners from Cap City Runners will be participating in the first-ever Breaking the Balance Project.

The group of 12 runners will run 450 miles over three days, starting in Buffalo and ending in Brooklyn.

The team is one of five from across New York participating; the goal of the run is to spread awareness of mental health and bring the community together through running.
