The Dodson Church of Christ hosted a Health Fair and Blood Drive on Saturday, providing area residents with access to health information, community resources and blood donation opportunities.

Dr. Daylan Moore, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Director at The Centers for Youth and Families in Little Rock, served as the guest speaker for the event.

Yesterday, Dr. Moore spoke with us about the services offered through The Centers for Youth and Families, including resources available through the organization’s Fayetteville location.

Moore also reflected on the success of Saturday’s health fair, discussing the number of people served and what stood out most to him during the event.

During the interview, Moore shared some of the biggest health concerns he observed among those who attended the fair and emphasized the importance of addressing those issues through education and access to care.

Moore also provided information on where community members can find additional resources and learn more about services offered through The Centers for Youth and Families.

As the interview concluded, Moore offered a message of encouragement to the community regarding the importance of maintaining both physical and mental health.

The health fair and blood drive gave residents an opportunity to connect with healthcare professionals, obtain valuable health information and learn about services available throughout the region.
