  1. Honestly, very funny but also it hurts a little to think some people may watch this video and come away from it thinking that is exactly what they should say or do. If you are one of those people, this message is for you: never say what that button says. The button is wrong and cures nothing, just as saying those things in real life is too.

  2. sooo true, nothing better then a bunch of platitude when you are F..cked, i swear everytime someone sad something like " just think less" or good old classics like "do more sports" or j" just eat better" are so incredibly helpful. would be nice if the joke phrases in this video wouldn't be so common in real life🤣

  3. Regardless of how poignant and deep this skit is, my favorite aspect of it is that Rowan is physically absent, and yet he voices the button and its halfhearted support and blatant gaslighting. Which makes him possibly an even worse antagonist than his despicable Bored counterpart.

  4. As of 10/30/24 this video has 1M views in just 2yrs time. For perspective, it would take three people, simultaneously watching this very episode, on repeat, without breaks for those entire 2 yrs, to match that view count.

  5. For the past three years, ive had yearly episodes of depression and ocd. Ive alwaysbhad someone, but this time, i feel alone. My brother who supportsd me so much the first time has recently had a daughter and i feel guilty and selfish about burdening him and his wife with my problems now. This video, which i discovered completely by accident, has given me access to people with mental health problems as well. It's making me emotional to know that i can connect to fellow sufferers.

  6. actually, the "do 1 push-up' is legit good advice.

i used to be apathetic, and altogether felt like my life had neither point nor meaning, and a friend told me this:
"every morning, as soon as you open your eyes, before you do anything else, do one pysh-up. You can even go back to bed after that for all i care, but the first action and thought of your day should be to do one push-up"

That one single push-up every morning actually boosted my energy for the whole day, and i still do it.

  7. Seriously though, that button offers exactly the same solution as any professional you'll likely go and see. They'll all just fob you off with CBT because it's easier than doing the real work.
