County SECRETLY Approves Mental Health Facility in Santa Monica Without Telling Anyone
Here we go again – another mental health facility mysteriously appearing in Santa Monica without anyone knowing about it! How does a 49-bed facility for severely mentally ill individuals just get dropped into one of the most expensive neighborhoods in California? Simple: local officials know if they tell residents beforehand, there’ll be outrage, so they jam it through under cover of darkness.
We’re breaking down the homeless industrial complex playbook that’s spreading across liberal cities from Seattle to Santa Monica. With open-door policies allowing residents to come and go as they please, what could possibly go wrong when you place unstable individuals next to million-dollar ocean views? Meanwhile, Seattle’s mayor wants to export their homeless crisis to surrounding counties – because when you’ve built it and they’ve come, the solution is apparently to spread the chaos everywhere else.
Is anyone surprised that 70% of Seattle’s homeless population comes from outside the city? What happens when progressive policies meet NIMBY reality? How long before these feel-good housing-first policies collapse under their own contradictions?
Hit subscribe if you’re tired of watching taxpayer dollars fund experiments that put communities at risk while politicians pretend everything’s fine!

They need to lock them up somewhere. They can walk from the sidewalk straight into lock down. Build one on every block!
Itβs better not to let people know otherwise theyβll protest and choggle everything up.
Seattle just keeps voting blue and expects different results.
Meanwhile, peeps in the Palisades still waiting on permits to remove debris
I want my city to cut "homeless" ass wipers.
I didn't vote for my town to coddle crazy MFs from other towns.

maybe they know that's where all the Republicans live looks pretty nice… in my town all the rich people live on the east side so they're putting in affordable housing(aka homeless shelter) right up the street for me where the orignal hospital was and the new hospital is now on the east side the hospital is open over here they said all the homeless and crazies had to be on this side of town to get care now they don't mention it I'll move it anyway out to the country it's cheap here
DUMP NEWSCUM NOW.
The homeless/mentally ill/drug addiction problems are at a level of national emergency. We all know it. FEMA needs to take the homeless/mentally ill/drug addiction problems on. The federal govt. needs to build huge, secure, self-contained facilities on the out skirts of cities and towns and staff them. These people cannot be allowed to leave the facilities. If their conditions improve, then they may be permitted to live in professionally staffed half-way houses with strict rules and procedures. If a patient fails to integrate and has problems, they must be returned to the facility. It's simple. States and counties show repeatedly they cannot or do not deal with this problem. They exploit the situation. They don't have any accountability. Citizens do not want these facilities in their neighborhoods or communities. These are facts. They don't have to be in our backyards.
So is it OK to acknowledge that mentally ill people are dangerous now? Why donβt they want to have mentally ill wandering their neighborhood?
This facility in Santa Monica will fail and the residents in the neighborhood will become furious. Mark my words. The city and state officials know this and do not care. They hate you and me.
They dropped a youth transition home in my neighborhood 30 years ago. Crime went ballistic with car prowl, robbery, drug dealing, and property damage. The house was a mess and looked like crap in two years.
Sorry, I don't agree with you. Change the zoning laws. Facilities must be self contained. These facilities don't have to be in the cities or neighborhoods. That's BS. The problem has to be federalized. Why would anyone want this bullshit in their backyard? Of course people don't want the problems it will cause. Plus, it devalues their property. These facilities should not be in residential areas, or where people conduct their lives. They must be away from the population or it will always be a problem.
GOOD! NOW BUILD ABOUT 10K MORE!
I think they should be more careful where they place them, tho.
Away from neighborhoods with families …a business or industrial area would be best.
Needs to house several hundred, not just a few.
Definitely needs to be as secure as a prison.
I wonder how many mental health wards in California are actually illegal immigrants chiminals and how many are actually there for mental health treatment
Wonder how many Santa Monica residents who are complaining about the mental health facility are now thinking Democratic leadership isn't working?
Why not set a curfew ? An open door policy is ignoring the needs of the community as a whole.
I think this place looks like a dream for a structured life. Not a free for all. Many people have mental issues that are not a danger to society. People that need boundaries and protection, but still have a life worth living
Great video, Sean
Can we please stop using the word Phsyco? Mental illness is just that.
Some are criminally insane and we should learn to know the difference
And all of their "friends" will move in too.
