the most important part of my role is the ability to connect with my patients and to remind them that they are not alone my role as a behavioral health consultant is very rewarding because I get to provide support to my patients and help them find solutions to their problems and see the progress that they are doing outside of their session cbha serves such a diverse group of individuals that come from so many different backgrounds and life experiences I enjoy being able to connect with my patients and learn about their story as well as helping them navigate their mental health mental health can affect anyone I get to meet with my patients and provide brief counseling interventions to help improve their overall health my role as a behavioral health consultant consists of completing assessments providing psycho education skill development and interventions to promote desired behavioral change and to help the client reach their goals I applied at cbha because of a large presence that it has within the community they have a variety of Services Under One Roof which is convenient for our patients cbha has given me the skills and tools that I need to grow as a professional they give me the flexibility to learn and work collaboratively with my peers to ensure that our patients get the care that they need
As a Behavioral Health Consultant, you’ll get to connect with patients, provide counseling, and change the mental health stigma.
