I chose a dbh mostly because I had been working in an interdisciplinary basically environment and also with VAR scenes and so I got to work with nurses and doctors as well as psychiatrists psychologists social workers and other individuals that had master’s degrees in the healthc care field and basically what we were doing was basically working as a team to address the co morbid medical issues that was being faced by the individual ual within our area and also trying to address some of the social determents of Health that they were experiencing and so I’ve always wanted to have a degree that I could integrate all of my education and knowledge into and so the doctor of Behavioral Health allowed me to do that
