Ty Cobb, a former White House attorney under President Donald Trump’s first term, has voiced his concern over the president’s apparent mental decline.
“I don’t think there’s any doubt about it,” Cobb said during an interview with MS Now on Thursday, April 16, referring to Trump being “insane.” “The symptoms are clear. I’m not a psychiatrist, but, you know, every day there’s a publication out there where respected psychiatrists and mental health professionals are quoted on the symptomatology.”
Cobb cited examples such as the president’s vocabulary shrinking, his inability to “finish sentences,” “[resorting] to profanity and threats, totally impulsive,” claiming that these are “suggestive of the absence of any frontal lobe controls.”

He went on to compare Trump to former President Joe Biden, who MAGA loyalists often deemed “Sleepy Joe,” claiming, “The difference between Biden’s, sort of, benevolent grandpa losing his memory and Trump’s malignant narcissism is shockingly consequential.”
