CLOVIS, N.M. (KFDA) – The Substance Use & Behavioral Health Program will host free educational sessions on cannabis legalization in Clovis this Thursday.
Organizers say the event will cover safety, regulations, risks, and how to talk with youth about building strategies for prevention and resilience.
Parents, guardians, military spouses and dependents, and anyone else who wants to learn more about cannabis legalization are invited to attend.
The event will take place April 23 at Java Loft, 810 E. 21st St.
The morning session will begin at 9 a.m.
The evening session will begin at 6 p.m.
Organizers say refreshments and a light meal will be provided at each session.
Attendees will also have the chance to win raffle prizes from local businesses.
