The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services will host a free Spring Forum titled “Help for Recovery thru Connection” from 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, April 30 at the Bauer Drive Recreation Center in Rockville.
The event is open to teens and adults and is designed to provide practical tools and information on mental health and substance use, including how to access local services, support loved ones, and navigate prevention, crisis, and recovery resources. Advance registration is required.
The forum will feature presentations and a resource fair with local organizations, offering attendees the opportunity to connect with service providers and learn about available programs. Students can earn up to 2.0 Student Service Learning hours, and social workers may receive continuing education credits.
