With the state having approved $24.4 million to expand behavioral health services statewide, workforce development remains the central challenge in that effort. “Today, we have young people literally from across the state in different communities being able to come with their families so that we can recognize all their hard work and allow them to really feel a part of this movement together so we continue to see that ripple impact in communities across the state,” says Ali Sillas, director of Youth Behavioral Health for Future Focused Education.

This career pathways program focuses on youth being part of the solution for youth behavioral health as well as preparing them for a career in the field.
