West Texans, this hospital was built for you, and because of your support. We are honored to be part of this community and look forward to serving you.

According to a post from Craig Stoker, the new Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center is a 200-bed facility.

Stoker said the facility is a partnership between Medical Center Hospital, Midland Memorial Hospital, PermiaCare and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, and that the project was supported through a public-private partnership with the state and private donors.

Several area health organizations also posted about the new facility and their involvement.

Midland Health said it is “honored to be a partner” on the Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center, calling it “a place of hope and healing for individuals and families across the region who are in need of mental health care.”
