Transforming Lives Through Community Behavioral Health | Oakland Community Health Network
Oakland Community Health Network (OCHN) plays a vital role in delivering public behavioral health services across Oakland County, Michigan. Contracted by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, OCHN oversees a vast provider network spanning more than 400 service sites and supports approximately 30,000 residents. The individuals served include those living with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health conditions and substance use disorders, most of whom rely on Medicaid coverage. Through strong coordination and oversight, OCHN ensures that care is accessible, consistent and responsive to the diverse needs of the community.
At the heart of OCHN’s work is a commitment to improving quality of life through meaningful access to care and full community participation. Guided by its mission to “inspire hope, empower people, and strengthen communities,” OCHN champions a system that values every individual it serves. By connecting people to the right services and supports, OCHN not only addresses immediate health needs but also fosters long-term wellbeing, independence, and inclusion, building a stronger, more compassionate community for all.
