HARRISBURG, Ill. (WSIL) — A community workshop aimed at promoting stress relief and mental wellness through creativity is coming to Harrisburg later this month.
The Stress Management Workshop will take place Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Harrisburg Community Health Center, located at 205 N. Main Street in Harrisburg.
The event is being hosted in partnership with Healing Illinois, local behavioral health professionals, and Community Health and Emergency Services Inc.
Organizers say the workshop will offer participants a creative environment focused on stress reduction through art activities. The event is open to the public and designed to encourage relaxation, self-care, and emotional wellness.
Behavioral health professionals will also participate in the event, providing support and resources related to stress management and mental health.
Organizers say the goal is to create a welcoming space where community members can connect, recharge, and explore healthy ways to manage stress.
