Can I be real for a minute? I started listening to Citizen Soldier after my cousin passed away in a car crash. As a Middle Schooler, it hit me harder than I wanted it to. I started to get some special treatment, like stepping out of the classroom or putting on my headphones so I didn’t have to hear anything involving death or anything close to it. And when I was having one of my breaks, I found the song, “Would Anyone Care.” I listened to it… and I immediately started to relate. And I got more into Citizen Soldier after listening to Would Anyone Care, and it helped me cope so much. So thank you, Citizen Soldier, for helping me through my depression and mental health. I’m now in High School, and I still listen to your music, even when I’m just bored. Your music gives me exactly what I needed during that moment – someone who knew. Someone who understood. Thank you, for helping me through my struggles. Please continue to make this beautiful music. If it helped me, I believe those who are hurting can be helped too.

This one hits hard. I do everything for everyone else and feel guilty if I spend 2 hours in the bath alone (I only have a bath Once a week but wash in other ways the rest of the week but it's the only 'me' time I get)
I don't mind being unconditionally everything for 3 special people in life. My 3 children, but the adults expect it all from me and never ever return it. The rare occsions I've asked for something from others I get crap for it (Like when I broke my leg and needed 10 days in hospital and emergency surgery. I asked my husband and mother to sort it amongst themselves who has the kids on what days and guess who had to do it all in the end anyways? 3 points if you guessed me. ) so I've stopped asking.
I’ve started writing down some of your songs on paper. It helps me calm down it organizes my thoughts, and it really helps me understand the message more and it makes it more direct like I can feel it with each letter.
