MidHudson Regional Hospital has completed an expansion and renovation of its behavioral health unit in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., according to a news release.

The project increases the number of behavioral health beds from 40 to 60 at the hospital, which is part of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth; Valhalla, N.Y.).

Additionally, patient rooms and common areas are updated with modernized finishes and increased access to natural light. A new patient comfort room and additional group activity and therapy space are also added.
