Marise Redmann has started Orchard Loft Wellness, a new mental health counseling practice in Fish Creek. Submitted.

Orchard Loft Wellness, a new mental health counseling practice in Fish Creek, offers therapeutic services to both residents and seasonal visitors.

Behind the business is Marise Redmann, a Door County native who owned and ran the Settlement Courtyard Inn and Lavender Spa in Fish Creek for many years while also writing for local publications, teaching dance, choreographing the high school musical and singing with local bands.

Redmann recently received a master’s degree in mental health counseling to round out the body/mind healing connection she developed as a massage therapist and healing arts practitioner. In addition to traditional therapy, Redmann can incorporate massage, somatic healing techniques, tai chi, aromatherapy and meditation for an integrated healing experience.

Redmann supports middle and high school students and adults through challenges like grief, life direction, family communication, neurodivergence, body discomfort, depression and anxiety. She is partnering with United Way’s STRIDE (Strengthening, Trust and Resilience, Instilling Independence, Discovering Empowerment) program as one of several mental health counseling providers in Door County’s public school system. In-home and telehealth services are available for those with mobility limitations.
