Rochester, N.Y. — Members of the Bill’s Mafia are back from a big bike ride.

Billy Dolan and Rory Camardello from Rochester just rode more than 650 miles from Chicago to Rochester.

The ride started as a challenge between two friends and snowballed into a movement that raised nearly $400,000 while sparking meaningful conversations about mental health.

“Initially i wanted to do something for charity and I had a bike trip in Italy with my mom, and I kinda got crazy idea,” Camardello said. “I was next to this guy at bar one night, and kinda ran it by him, and he said, ‘Well, I got a big bus. Why don’t I join you?’ The Bills was amazing. It was a nice intro, but really the most profound conversations that we had were all about mental health.”

June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month.
