CARBONDALE, Ill. (WSIL) — The Southern Illinois Community Foundation is seeking presenters for the 2026 Southern Illinois Behavioral Health Summit, scheduled for Sept. 24-25 at the SIU Student Center in Carbondale.

Organizers are inviting professionals, educators and students to share their expertise by submitting a presentation proposal. The deadline to apply is Monday, June 22.

The summit will feature keynote speakers, including Joseph T. Monahan, founder of Monahan Law Group LLC and a mental health law attorney in Illinois.

Continuing education credits will be available for a variety of professions, including social workers, professional counselors, nurses, educators and substance use disorder professionals.
