DODGE CENTER, Minn. (KTTC) – The sixth annual Aidan Hegge Memorial Golf Tournament is set for this weekend at the Dodge Country Club, raising money for youth mental health and suicide prevention through the nonprofit Aidan’s Light.
The tournament honors and remembers Aidan Hegge who died by suicide in July 2020.
Aidan’s family founded Aidan’s Light to raise awareness for youth mental health and suicide prevention and to support local scholarships and outreach programs at schools.
Organizers said last year’s tournament raised more than $40,000. This year’s goal is $45,000.
This year’s tournament is Saturday, June 27 in Dodge Center, with 40 teams registered and 101 hole sponsors.
The event also includes 50/50 raffles, on-course contests, a brat and burger bar, bottle bonanza game, prizes, swag bags, and live music.
