Valley’s ‘safety net’ hospital plans expansion

Valleywise Health is asking voters to approve almost $900 million in borrowing to expand services in Maricopa County. A top hospital official explains the needs and how much the bond offering would cost taxpayers.

  1. Let me get this straight, you want us to pay 1.4billion and only 898million will go to these health projects?! I'm a hard NO. Rewrite the proposition. Get a much lower interest rate. And while you are at it, adjust your priorities. Out of all that 898million, you are only going to add 100 beds for addiction recovery? That's a bum deal. What you really want is us to pay for all of the medical expenses of the uninsured on top of our own medical expenses. 😮
