  1. Sure but when your narcissistic father repeats a pattern that literally isolated you from everyone you loved again after I trusted him not to 2 years later when I least expected it and when im doing the best for me and my daughter while in nursing school. I just lost it. I wanted him to know he will never be dojng that to me again. Ive set boundaries ill never trust him in a group setting. Any man ive met hes told them im selfish and terrible a d plays the victim for empathy. Ive endured years and years of abuse so when the tree broke its because I was fed up. So its not to say its healthy to go with the wind when the wind is taking you to isolation depression and hell.😊

  2. Laughter got me through a broken back. My friends and family were baffled that I was joking and laughing. My response was… I can cry all day about what happened but it's not gonna get me anywhere except drained. I'd rather use that energy to get better and get me on my feet again. I'll save the tears for the pain to motivate me to keep going! ❤❤❤

  3. Psychological flexibility is part of acceptance and commitment therapy,

In Buddhist psychology it’s known as malleability of mind

People with autism and those that suffer from mental ill health such as depression also experience a certain rigidity in their thinking and thought patterns.

  4. When you are flexible with others, some see it differently. I am flexible, easygoing and adapt well and make myself available, while others see it as me not having boundaries or have anything else to do but cater to them. Not true at all. (These are unhealthy individuals.)

  5. True… unless you're neurodivergent. Neurodivergent don't have a lot of flexibility in their psyche, but it doesn't mean we aren't healthy. We're neurodifferent. However for us to be healthy, we need flexibility and adaptability in others to have our needs met to be able to stay healthy.

  6. The less healthy the personality, the less fexible
Core of mental health is flexibility in psyche
Like physical health- in muscle and joints
    It's an adaptability
Self awareness and awareness and others
Novel prob solved without getting struck in one solution
Ability to self regulate and self soothe
