  1. I can tick most of those off the list 😢 I was only diagnosed Autistic last year at age 48🤯 & the Psychologist actually said there was enough evidence for me to ask for an ADHD diagnosis Assessment. So I’ve self referred to my local wellbeing service 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 I wish that this was standard & required reading for all medical professionals as it really wrecks havoc on us! I’m so glad you said this in such a way as to be easily understood & accessible 🎉🎉

  2. I was diagnosed when i was 40. I spent a lifetime wondering why my brain didnt function like everyone else. I knew that i am/was intelligent in my own right, but i always felt like my brain was broken. Ive lost a lifetime of possibilities because ad/hd wasnt a common in the 80s and 90s.

  3. I did not have ADD type baheviotlrs until my brain was damaged due to Anesthesia. I would lovecfir someone to study my brain to see which part of it was affected.

  4. I wish these loaded words like "boring task" were not used. It makes us look lazy and irresponsible. How about tedious, repetitive, too easy, un-demanding, requiring little effort – for those type tasks – whether you have adhd or not – you need a high ability to maintain concentration.

  5. Women have sensitivity and difficulty controlling moods? Not me. Experts who make a short video and describe symptoms that all women have puts a label on people. We are all different, despite having adhd. This video upsets me.

  6. I used to get detention every day in middle school because I couldn't focus in literature class. My school has a strict demerit system & I would rack them up zoning out so much
