Linwood Charter gets mental health aid after tragic loss

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Linwood Charter School community will receive behavioral health supports to help them cope with the tragic loss of eight children early Sunday morning.

Davide Raines Community Health Centers announced a partnership with Third Future Schools, the charter operator for Linwood, to provide behavioral support through the end of the school year.

“Licensed professionals are on-site to offer counseling and emotional support as needed. We remain committed to serving our community with care, compassion, and support duirng this difficult time”
