EVANS, Ga. (WJBF) — A local community is coming together this weekend for a race focused on mental health awareness and remembrance.
The Free Your Feels 5K Run and Walk is set for Saturday, May 2, at Memorial Park behind the Evans Library, starting at 8:30 a.m.
The event is hosted by Columbia County Community Connections and honors the life of Ethan Noah, while also supporting a scholarship in his name.
Ethan is being remembered for his kindness, compassion, and impact on those around him.
Organizers say all proceeds benefit the Ethan Noah Scholarship and mental health awareness efforts across the region.
Registration is available online for in-person and virtual participants.
