SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) – Young people in South Bend are leading the conversation on mental health.
Wednesday night, a youth-led town hall brought together students, families, and community members for an open discussion.
The panel was moderated by our own Joshua Short and included voices from the South Bend Community School Corporation, the University of Notre Dame, and the South Bend Police Department.
“My purpose when it comes to being an inspiring leader to the youth is to keep being yourself and shine your light to other people,” said Samuel Stron Jr. a senior at Washington High School.
After the town hall, the community celebrated the graduating seniors on the youth advisory council.
