Have you tried these yet?!
We never announced that she started wearing them… but the emotional blowups stopped escalating the way they used to.
When a child’s nervous system is stuck in a state of overwhelm, even small challenges can feel enormous.
Transitions become more difficult.
Frustration builds more quickly.
Emotions hit fast and hard before they have time to process them.
Most people focus on the behavior without looking at what’s driving it. The nervous system plays a major role in how the brain handles stress, emotions, sensory input, and self-regulation. When those signals become too intense or move too quickly, the child isn’t trying to be difficult. Their nervous system is responding faster than it can organize itself.
That’s the part we started paying attention to.
The patches she wears use vibrotactile neuromodulation technology. The patterns on the patch interact with sensory receptors in the skin and communicate with nervous system pathways involved in emotional regulation and cognitive function. Nothing is absorbed into the bloodstream. The body is simply receiving sensory input that supports a more regulated response to stress and stimulation.
The changes showed up in everyday life first.
Calmer reactions.
Less escalation.
Recovering from frustration more quickly.
A nervous system that seemed more able to settle itself.
If you’re raising a child who experiences emotions intensely, you know how meaningful those changes can be. We use Focus, Peace, and Joy.
