GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – A man, who threatened to bomb a Gainesville hospital, is now booked into jail.

Alachua County deputies were called to Meridian Behavioral Health last September.

Someone working at the hospital told deputies that Joseph Sherrill, 44, was behind the threat.

She says Sherill often called the health center with threats of violence.

For the next 7 months, Sherrill didn’t cooperate with deputies.

They took out a warrant, finally arresting him on Friday
