Northern Nevada HOPES is expanding access by introducing same-day, walk-in behavioral health screenings for adults at its Fifth Street location.
HOPES already provides comprehensive behavioral health services at both its 4th Street and 5th Street locations.
According to Northern Nevada HOPES, the same-day access model, which has been available at the 4th Street clinic, is now expanding to the Fifth Street clinic to meet growing community command.
The Behavioral Health Access service offers walk-in, same-day screenings without the need for a referral.
Following a screening, patients are guided to appropriate services including:
Brief Psychotherapy – Short-term, goal-focused therapy
Outpatient Psychotherapy – Ongoing mental health supportIntensive Outpatient Programs – Structured care for individuals managing more complex or ongoing needs, including substance use and gambling addictionGroup Therapy – Therapist-led sessions that foster connection and shared growthMedication-Assisted Treatment – Integrated care for substance use recoveryPsychiatry Services – Medication management and clinical support
