The Russell County Board of Education heard an update on mental health counseling for students in the school system at this week’s board meeting.
Superintendent Michael Ford said the school district is glad to work with multiple outside agencies that come in and provide mental health services to Russell County students.

That amounts to about 15 percent of Russell County students who are receiving these services from outside agencies.
