Labor’s $1 billion pledge takes mental health services to ‘another level’
Health Minister Mark Butler spoke on how Labor’s $1 billion pledge for mental health services will affect and help Aboriginal communities.
Mr Butler relayed how the Commonwealth will be partnering with Headspace to provide “a range of First Nations-led services”.
“There will be 20 rural outreach services that again, is a new model of care and that will be able to provide support to many parts of Australia where there are high Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations,” Mr Butler said.
