PM to introduce a ‘visionary’ healthcare system to target mental health concerns
University of Melbourne Youth Mental Health Professor Pat McGorry spoke on how the Labor Party is creating a “visionary” and “free” healthcare system for Australians.
“We are facing a youth mental health crisis around the world … the government is acting decisively now to fill that gap,” Mr McGorry said.
“This is a massive breakthrough in building a system of care that will last in the future.
“Every Australian family should be very happy today because they’re seeing really great reform in place now.”
