I don’t think the majority of people with schizophrenia are like this. My brother hears voices, talks with them and that’s about it. If you ask him about what he’s hearing he’ll deny everything and says he’s okay.
I only hear voices, noices and see strange things i also somethimes belive i will evenetually just fall in to the sky or be taken by aliens.
This isn't funny. I'm a schizophrenic and I do not appreciate how this was handled.

Im paranoid bipolar and I have a deep rooted fear of the governement and often paranoid theyre trying to force me into a mental hospital to wipe my memmory of all their corruption .. this creates very bad toxic scenarios of me in the hospital with heightened paranoia the doctors and nurses are big pharma agents trying to force medicate me .. today I have the clarity to realize that but that can change at any moment ..

Some people are actually experiencing demonic assaults in their lives listen I used to be the biggest die hard athiest intellectual who only spoke of physics, evolutionary biology and the sciences I would mock and ridicule anyone who spoke of anything super natural like God or demons until I found myself in some situations that medical science could not help me with and the only person that could do something about it was Jesus Christ. Now im a believer and have had demonic experiences to know Satan is very real.. when I first started experiencing supernatural stuff it was more like WHAT THE F*CK! I NEED PSYCH MEDS! but that is not the case. God is real, hell is hot.. naturally as sinners were going there, Jesus died so we dont have too. Love yall ✌️

P.s I would hear stories like this in the past and say that person needs a psychiatrist and medication I am aware how speaking of the supernatural sounds to people I was one of those people I had the same reactions when people would tell me that stuff I would either think they're crazy,laugh or depending on the situation genuinely feel bad and tell them to get help at their local crisis center. Again in some cases what they are experiencing is truly demonic in nature.
When I was a 911 operator, we had a regular who would call and tell us he saw reptilian beings. It was always urgent to him because they were "only visible in reflections," so neither he nor the cops would be able to see them if they moved away from the reflective surface before someone arrived

Like my mom says where there's that much smoke there's a fire somewhere. We name stuff what we want but what we're doing is grouping a set of common experiences and then calling it something. Everyone schitzo seems to have had an encounter with God. Spiritual warfare is real.

Lots of stories. Former CNA in Memory Care with a patient that had Parkinson’s related Lewy Body Dementia. This is the one Robin William’s had (lewy body) and the patient had constant hallucinations and delusions to the point where I walked in on them attempting to self power off button. All of the hallucinations that turned out not to be real were killing his mental health. Was able to save them on that attempt but they were sent to a psychiatric facility and came back a month later bed ridden. Patient died weeks later. Still affects me to this day.

I like to watch scary shows really late when I am expected to be sleeping with full volume in my headphones to make it way more scarier and make myself more paranoid.
Actually this is NOT typical BEHAVIOR of a paranoid schizophrenic that presents in the ER and is misleading and is borderline making fun of mentally ill patients. Please educate yourself more on this . ARN for 35 yrs working in psych.
