Surprisingly, brisk walking worked for me. I get bad, I brisk walk wherever I can when I can (or feel the need to) and not only does it fix it there and then, but its lasts for weeks or months. Part of why I think this works is because you gain reassurance from the exercise that if 'that' doesn't give you a heart attack, then why would sitting down relaxing?? I think that is 'part' of the reason anyway. Best wishes to anyone who experiences it though. Its truly awful at times and quite frightening.
this is so good, thank you for speaking out, it was both courageous and inspiring. I hope you all find some way of coping x
this made me cry from happiness when I realised I was not alone and it will pass
Thank you so much for publishing this, I feel like I'm understood and can relate to this so much having thought for so long that I was alone.
All things must pass.
This is such a great video on anxiety. I came across another really good one from "askyourgp" by 2 doctors talking about it

I am an avid #MentalHealthAwareness advocate and performer, and I love this so much. I travel the country trying to bring that awareness on stages, in classrooms, hospitals, and on my YouTube channel, so I get excited when I see other advocates. 💙❤
Excellent. My anxiety is coupled with Asperger's Syndrome and so people can trigger anxiety very easily. I find dabbing Rosemary oil just under my nose can help a great deal. Rosemary oil smells rather medical, as something you might put on a cut or a bruise, and so it does not attract much attention when using it.Rosemary oil does not cause sleepiness, as say Lavender tends to do, but instead it wakes you up and relaxes you at the same time.
It is nice to see there's someone out there for people who are suffering from an anxiety attack. I'm one of them.
