Perryville’s Community Counseling Center will host a Community Impact Luncheon as part of its observance of Mental Health Awareness Month in May.
The luncheon is scheduled for May 13 at the Robinson Event Center. Doors will open at 11 a.m., with lunch and the program beginning at 11:30 a.m. The event is expected to last around an hour.
According to Community Counseling Center CEO Wendy Ice, the luncheon will highlight the organization’s impact across the region while offering attendees a closer look at behavioral health services available locally.
During the event, attendees will receive information about services provided within the county, along with updates on upcoming initiatives. The program will also feature a personal story of recovery from an individual served by the organization and include recognition of the Community Partner of the Year for Perry County.
The luncheon is one of several being held across southeast Missouri, though the Perryville event is the only one specifically focused on Perry County residents.
Organizers encourage community members, business leaders and local partners to attend. Reservations are required, and those planning to attend must RSVP by April 23 using the link provided in the event invitation.
“We would be honored to have you with us if your schedule permits,” Ice said.
