LINDSAY Calif. (FOX26) — Several guns were seized after a man made threats to employees at a Kaweah Health Behavioral Center in Lindsay, police say.

Officers responded to the Kaweah Health Behavioral Center after reports of a man threatening employees.

According to the investigation, Anthony Cornelius had allegedly threatened to harm staff members and the facility, including statements about destroying the building.

Facility staff initiated a lockdown “out of an abundance of caution” to ensure everyone inside was safe.

Cornelius had left before the officers arrived.

Officers then went to Cornelius’ residence, where he was located and taken into custody without incident.

A search warrant was later obtained and served at the home, where officers seized multiple firearms, including about seven handguns and rifles, along with a significant quantity of ammunition and high-capacity magazines.

The investigation remains ongoing.
