Ellen Mulvey was a beloved partner, stepmother, sister and daughter but she had a secret none of her loved ones were aware of, gambling. In a bid to escape her addiction, Ellen excluded herself from gambling websites but was able to continue betting via unlicensed online platforms, spending hundreds of thousands of pounds. Sadly last year, aged 44, Ellen died by suicide. Her sister, Katie Styring, and partner, Deanne Tomkins, join us in the studio as they call for more education about gambling addictions, alongside solicitor Dan Webster to explain more about unlicensed gambling platforms.
