LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – Marijuana use has increased among young people in Michigan and across the country over the last couple of years, a mental health expert said.
Marianne Huff with the Mental Health Association in Michigan said the organization is seeing higher use of cannabis, particularly among people between the ages of 15 to 25.
“We’re seeing a big increase in the use of cannabis and we’re seeing a big use increase in the frequency of the use,” Huff said.
She joined News 10’s Taylor Gattoni on Mid-Michigan Matters to talk about the risks of marijuana use by youth.
