State police at Frackville are investigating a report of theft of jewelry and coins from a residence on Valley Street in New Philadelphia.
The victim told police that sometime between 3 p.m. May 1 and 5 p.m. May 21, an unknown person entered her home and removed three gold-band diamond rings and 15 miscellaneous coins from her jewelry armoire. The rings are valued at $2,000, and the coins are valued at $500.

Illegal dumping in Blythe Twp. caught on trail cam
Kyle Long, 38, of Cumbola, was taken into custody, released and cited for dumping household trash in a wooded area in Blythe Twp., according to state police at Frackville.
Long told police that on May 14, he dumped bags of garbage off the roadway on Ponderosa Road, just north of Route 209. A trooper visited the scene and confirmed the scattering of rubbish.
The location was monitored, and the incident was captured on a nearby trail camera, police said.
Vandalism at Delano Twp. dirt rider park
Two teens face criminal mischief charges after a May 9 trespassing and property damage incident on Industrial Park Road in Delano Twp., according to state police at Frackville.
A 14-year-old boy from Delano and a 15-year-old boy from Mahanoy City were arrested after a wooden bridge belonging to the High Mountain Dirt Riders club was damaged. The damage is estimated at $150.
Charges have been filed through Magisterial District Court 21-2-01 in Frackville.
Forged trail passes
Management at Famous Reading Outdoors in Pottsville contacted the state police at Frackville on May 13, to report theft of services.
Employees discovered that multiple off-road park passes had been fraudulently forward-dated by approximately 20 years to bypass the standard expiration.
The total financial loss and the exact number of compromised passes are still being evaluated, police said.
Woman injured in East Brunswick Twp. crash
Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville responded to a T-bone collision at the intersection of Route 443 (Chestnut Street) and McKeans Ridge Road in East Brunswick Twp. on May 17.
Crystal Putalavage, 27, of Brockton, was driving a 2022 Jeep Cherokee and pulled out from a stop sign onto Route 443 without proper clearance, police said.
Her vehicle struck an eastbound 2017 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Kenneth Steigerwalt, 61, of New Ringgold.
Airbags deployed in both vehicles, and both sustained heavy front-end damage. Putalavage was transported by ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital East. A 1-year-old boy in a rear-facing child safety seat in Putalavage’s vehicle was uninjured. Steigerwalt reported a possible injury, but was not transported.
Putalavage was cited with failing to obey a traffic control device.
In addition to state police, Community Fire Company and New Ringgold Ambulance responded to the scene.
