ASHLAND, Ore. – Ashland Community Health Foundation awarded $30,000 to two projects that will bring mental health and substance use services directly to vulnerable residents in Ashland, Talent and Phoenix.
The foundation partnered with Jackson Care Connect and CareOregon to fund the projects. According to the foundation, the investments address gaps in care by meeting people where they are and removing barriers to access.
The funding will expand access to mental health services for the region’s most vulnerable populations. The projects aim to create environments where healing can begin for underserved individuals.
