Hmmm….. In hospital for eight months and then abandoned in an unheated unelectrified apartment with no food to "recover".. I wonder if the people who made the decision to dump him there would appreciate being treated in the same manner. It's just a thought… but I bet they wouldn't.

At least he had a roof over his head. Anyone living rough calling 999 saying it’s not fair and they can’t cope certainly wouldn’t be invited into an ambulance and taken to hospital. He needs support but that’s support in the community not AE

In America, they just roll you out to the street and leave you there.
Look I completely understand that certain situations people have to deal with serious mental health conditions. And I really hope we can improve the services for such extreme cases. This is also a massive consequence of poverty. However everyone goes through tough times. Resilience is key. Even more middle class people in life face extremely difficult situations, mental health problems, crisis, but you just have to deal with it. You have to look at yourself in the mirror and think I have to keep going and have some aspiration to resolve the situation. Let me be clear their are certainly cases where people absolutely should be supported in this but at the moment too many people simply fall on the state expecting it to accommodate their problems when they need to take a hard look at themselves and take responsibility

mental health is no joke (i deal with panic attacks and angsty) and its beyond a joke the government dismisses it government and councils really need to work dam together to fix this for everyone's sake

The most heart-wrenching story I watched in a minute. Unfortunately it's not a new story. Sad. So sad. .😢
We used to admit all the homeless, marginally prepared and alcoholics as soon as it froze or snowed. Why do they have nothing. They closed the mental hospitals years ago. There are more mental health and failure to thrive adults than ever! Placement is extremely difficult. You can work for days, weeks on a plan, only to have them refuse, or walk away.
well team, it’s just sad because, where is our nation/country. i think a human effort from the vulnerable adult. im not knocking the AMHP. it sad that there’s no uk folk interest, unless they’re being paid a salary. all you got in these cities is an education.
An empty apartment with no bed or heat. In America they would be put out on the street.
Missing a social worker AND an occupational therapist. Sad sad discharge story but all too common.
An insider"s view. Mental Health services are broken. The people who care for me are trying to do the impossible with nothing. No in patient bede any more for crises, patients and families have to endure the risks and distress at home.
Section 117 where is the social worker n3eds a solicitor mental health councils have no money.

lord i majorly lift up this brother depicted in this video and right now according to your perfect will I just ask in Jesus Name that you would just totally rebuke curse and cast out this evil spirit of mental illness and depression all in the name of the father son and holy spirit lord and according to your perfect will please deliver us an awesome healing report lord that’s my prayer and that’s my hope!!!!!! lord right now i much pray that you please lead this brother to Ephesians 6 where he can put on the whole armor of God and be able to withstand the wiles of Satan!!!!! i also pray if there be any means of God and Bible based counseling for this dear brother please make those resources available for him and also right now i just ask that you please just wrap your warm and comforting arms around this brother and no matter what might transpire may unimaginable perfect rest peace grace mercy satisfaction and comfort be totally multiplied and poured out on him to much help him pull through this ordeal and by all means please help this brother’s faith to grow stronger each and everyday and help him not to in any way get discouraged but to totally trust your will and lean on the everlasting arms of Jesus each and everyday to the fullest extent and i still believe you’re the God of miracles and the impossible so finally my major prayer is that you please break the unbreakable move the immovable and from the impossible we’ll see a miracle God we believe for it in the name of the father son and holy spirit lord that’s my prayer and that’s my hope amen!!!!!
